Review of the life and music works of Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin,
and Bach.

2.0 Reading notes on the staff
Duration: 1 week (Tuesday and Thursday)
Price: $100
Minimum: 2 students maximum: 6 students

Part I- Tuesday June 15 (working on notes on Treble clef and
quiz)
Part II - Thursday June 17 (working on notes on Bass clef and quiz)
Time: 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm (tentative)
Level required: any level
Description:
This course is for students that does not know how to read
notes on the staff, students that are getting confused with notes on the
staff, and for students that want to improve their sight-reading. The
teacher will provide tips and repetitive exercises to master reading on both
staves.

3.0 Sight Singing and
Rhythm:
Duration: 1 week (Tuesday and Thursday)

Description:
Very fun course for any age but especially for piano students that like to
sing.
“Sight-singing” simply means singing a piece of written music - at first
sight - without the
aid of any other instrument. It’s a special skill that both singers and
instrumentalists can
develop by training with one of several sight-singing techniques.

4.0 Let’s play piano together (Duet course)
Duration: 1 week (Tuesday and Thursday)

Minimum: 2 students maximum: 6 students

Part I- Tuesday (rhythm basics review, working on couple
piano pieces)
Part II - Thursday (performance and quiz)
Time: 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm
Level required: minimum end of level 1
Description:
The piano duet, also known as "piano four hands" is a type of
chamber music in which two pianists play on the same keyboard. Piano
teachers often use pieces for piano duets to address technical issues such
as sight reading and rhythm. Aside from helping a student improve his/her
playing, piano duets are fun to play and wonderful to listen to.

5.0 Jazz it up
This course is designed to ease you into playing jazz and create a solid
foundation. It assumes you have already begun your keyboard training, are
familiar with reading music and have experience playing major and minor
scales.
What this course can do is teach you the basics. Playing jazz is fun, so enjoy!
Duration: 3 weeks (Tuesday and Thursday)
Price: $210
Minimum: 2 students maximum: 6 students

(feel, scales soloing and blues progression)
