Asked Questions from Prospective Students
1. How often should we
meet for a lesson? Usually one half hour per week.
2. What do lessons
cost? Most students take one 30 minute lesson a week which
cost $25.
3. How much do I have
to practice? This depends upon your goals and motivation; enough to progress
at least a little and warrant another lesson. Practice should involve
concentration, learning, improvement and enjoyment.
4. How do you teach
beginners? I cover all
the basics: technique, touch, posture, theory, and reading and understanding
music. I also discover how to motivate the student and lead rapidly to
enjoyment of the piano. The student needs to find his own musical sense.
LM Music Studio offers piano lessons to the surrounding Keller, Fort Worth, Haslet, Roanoke, and Trophy Club communities for students ranging from beginners to advanced.
